    Yesterday your Quarry Fishing and Boating Club, along with the The Quarry Community Development District were out conducting water tests on our lakes. This testing is conducted at least 4 times annually as we monitor or greatest asset.

    Finally a few nice ones

    Once again I got lucky looking for fish with a friend from up north. It finally turned on when the wind finally let up. Over 25 fish in the afternoon. Is it me or do these fish look like they're getting ready to spawn?

    Parasites?

    Please keep an eye out for what looks to be some type of parasite on our fish. It could be nothing serious but if possible please post any photos of them should you see it. I'd say more that half of the fish in catching have them.

    Smithtown Bay New York

    Hello Quarry! Fishing in NY has been great. Here's a pic I took of my friend Steve with a 32 inch slot fish. Notice the bunker in her mouth. Our regs are 28-39 inch are keepers, and the rest of the fish we caught were all over. This is in the Long Island sound.
